Ed Roper joins New Castle as new Branch Manager in White Plains.

With over 15 years of management experience Ed comes to us with a wealth of knowledge. Ed graduated Lemoyne College in 1988 with a degree in Mathematics and Management. Starting out his career with Simon and Schuster, Ed advanced to the position of financial operations and customer service manager at Simon and Shuster directing over 100 people. In his various roles at Simon and Schuster Ed was responsible for customer service, accounts receivable, back office operations and the complete financial process.  
Ed is a lifetime resident of Rockland County and a father of four children ranging from ages 7 to 21. As a leading name in the industry Ed has the experience, product knowledge and energy to lead New Castle’s flagship branch into the future.

   

Steve Belanich takes on new position as Director of Inventory, Purchasing & Pricing Coordinator.

Steve has been with New Castle for over 15 years and has helped us grow and develop into a leader in the industry. He comes from an engineering and business background with a degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA. Steve’s product knowledge and understanding of architecture and construction is an asset that has benefited both New Castle and our ever growing customer base. These qualities are key to our future growth and will be an integral skill for the position in which he will be undertaking.

 

New Castle adds two new trucks to its fleet

New Castle Building Products recently added two new trucks to its fleet. The new trucks not only expand New Castle’s  fleet, but create two new jobs and improve the quality of service New Castle provides to its customers. The two trucks are new Freightleiner Class M2 112V trucks with boom attachments.

 

New Castle Employee presents American Flag to USS Carl Vinson Crew

Theodore Cook, a retired Brooklyn firefighter presented an American flag that flew at Ground Zero to the crew of USS Carl Vinson, the aircraft carrier from which the corpse of Osama bin Laden was dispatched to a watery grave.
Cook, 52, a former member of Ladder Co. 123 in Crown Heights, looked forward to offering the hallowed memento to honor the 5,500 men and women who serve aboard the vessel, where his son, Christopher, 25, is a petty officer second class.
Cook and his wife, Debra, of Deer Park, LI, flew from New York to be on hand for a long-awaited homecoming of their son, when the Vinson pilled into San Diego on Wednesday.
Cook, who toiled on the pile at Ground Zero, carried the 5-by-9-foot flag, which will serve as a Flag Day gift from the FDNY.
